These photos are from a recent bohemian styled shoot featuring a real bride (my friend Anna) who just got married this Memorial Day weekend! Rebekah and I have been coming up with this shoot for a long time... we first started talking about a collaboration over a year ago and it was so awesome to see it come true. The oversized flower crown Springvine Design created added a bohemian but high fashion look to our shoot. Rebekah (of Hair and Makeup by Rebekah) did a flawless but dewey look that was perfection. I know she posted all of the makeup details and products on her instagram feed. The boots, violin, and flowing lace drew (borrowed from J Majors bridal in CLT) were all the perfect touches for the golden field we photographed in. Deedie of Springvine Design also foraged most of the bouquet that Anna was holding-- how awesome is that?! It was a dream to work with two local Charlotte artists! I highly recommend Rebekah for makeup + hair and Deedie for florals.

We're expecting a baby on Thanksgiving Day!!! We are so excited!!! My birthday is November 18th, Mike's is November 20th, and the baby's due date is November 26th. So all November birthday's if the baby isn't late. We get to find out the sex at the end of June and we are both dying to know. We can't wait!
I've been MIA on my blog the past three months because after work I would just fall asleep. I was so nauseous and tired every single day (still am but getting better). I wanted nothing to do with salads and craved any type of carbs (pizza, pasta, bread, cereal, etc.). Other weird cravings have consisted of lemonade, french fries, fruit popsicles, and anything salty. Since I have a major sweet tooth I thought I'd be craving more sweets but I'm surprisingly not at all.
I'm not showing much but I definitely look bloated 24/7 and can tell a major difference in my stomach. I'm in the phase were people are probably wondering if I'm pregnant or if I just gained a few pounds. I'm hoping to be updating my blog more with some personal posts as well as a ton of projects I've been working on so stay tuned!
